1. Entry & Eligibility

1.1 Entry is open to participants aged 18 or over worldwide, subject to clause 1.4. By completing registration and submitting payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

1.2 One entry per person per heat. Multiple entries from the same individual using different details will result in disqualification and forfeiture of all entry fees paid.

1.3 Participants must hold an active PSA Collectors account with a valid PSA Vault at the time of registration. Providing false or unverifiable PSA account details will result in immediate disqualification.

1.4 This competition is open internationally, including to participants in the United States and Canada. It is your responsibility to ensure that entering this competition does not violate any law applicable in your jurisdiction. The host accepts no liability for any participant who enters in breach of local law. This event is operated as a paid product experience (you receive a PSA-graded card) with a competitive element — it is not a lottery or a game of chance as defined under UK, US, or Canadian law.

2. What Your Entry Fee Covers

2.1 Your entry fee covers the cost of one Pokémon Power Pack of the tier specified for your heat (Starter Pack for Heats 1 & 2; Silver Pack for Heat 3), opened live on stream on your behalf.

2.2 Your card is yours to keep — win or lose. You receive your card whether you win the heat or not. This is not a lottery — every participant receives a physical asset of value.

2.3 Your card will be transferred to your PSA Vault within approximately 6 weeks of the live stream date, subject to PSA processing times. Roaring Sensei will make every reasonable effort to complete this promptly and will communicate any delays.

3. The Competition

3.1 The tournament takes place live on YouTube on Wednesday 15 April 2026. The date and time are subject to change — registered participants will be notified of any changes via the email address provided at registration.

3.2 Each heat is judged independently. The participant whose revealed card has the lowest PSA value (as determined by Card Ladder at the time of reveal) wins that heat.

3.3 All card values are determined live using the Power Packs website and Card Ladder valuation. This is the sole and binding source of truth for all results.

3.4 Floor values apply: $12 for Starter Packs, $25 for Silver Packs. Any card valued at or below the applicable floor value will be recorded at the floor value for scoring purposes.

3.5 In the event of a tie, Pricecharting.com average graded values will be used as a tiebreaker. The host's decision is final and cannot be appealed.

4. Prizes

4.1 The winner of each heat receives one Pokémon Platinum Power Pack (approximate retail value $500 USD).

4.2 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4.3 Prize cards will be transferred to the winner's PSA Vault within approximately 6 weeks of the live stream date.

4.4 If a winner cannot be contacted or does not provide the necessary PSA Vault details within 14 days of the stream, the prize may be reallocated at the host's sole discretion.

5. Payment, Refunds & Cancellation

5.1 All entry fees are stated in USD. A processing fee is added to cover payment platform charges, as shown at checkout.

5.2 Payment must be completed and your entry reference included in the payment note before the stream begins. Unmatched payments will not be allocated a spot in the heat.

5.3 If the tournament is cancelled before it takes place, a full refund of your entry fee (excluding third-party processing fees) will be issued within 14 days.

5.4 If you wish to withdraw before the stream date, refund requests must be submitted via roaringsensei.com and are at the host's discretion. No refunds will be issued within 48 hours of the scheduled stream time.

5.5 Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated after the stream has taken place, or after your pack has been opened, will be treated as a breach of these Terms and may be contested and subject to legal action.

6. Disqualification

The host reserves the right to disqualify any participant and forfeit their entry fee, without refund, for any of the following:

• Providing false, fraudulent, or unverifiable registration details
• Holding an invalid or inactive PSA account at the time of the stream
• Abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour toward the host, platform, or other participants
• Initiating a payment chargeback after the pack has been opened on stream
• Any attempt to manipulate, challenge, or undermine the valuation process in bad faith
• Any conduct deemed by the host to be dishonest or harmful to the integrity of the competition

7. Streaming & Publicity

7.1 The tournament will be broadcast live on YouTube and may be recorded, clipped, and shared on social media platforms.

7.2 By entering, you consent to your registered name and social media handle being mentioned on the live stream and in any associated content produced by Roaring Sensei.

7.3 You will not be personally filmed. Only your publicly registered handle and card result will be referenced on stream.

8. Liability & Force Majeure

8.1 Roaring Sensei's liability is limited to the value of your entry fee. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from participation.

8.2 We are not responsible for technical failures of third-party platforms (PSA, YouTube, payment providers) that affect the delivery or outcome of the competition.

8.3 In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to illness, bereavement, internet or platform outage — we reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event. Full refunds of entry fees (excluding processing fees) will be offered in such cases.

9. Data & Privacy

9.1 We collect your name, email address, social media handle, and PSA account details solely to administer your tournament entry and deliver your card.

9.2 Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties, except where necessary to fulfil your card delivery via the PSA.

9.3 We retain your data for up to 12 months following the event. You may request deletion at any time via the contact form on this site.

9.4 These practices are in accordance with UK GDPR.

10. Unfilled Heats

10.1 If a heat does not reach its maximum capacity, the host reserves the right to run the heat regardless, cancel it, or merge it with another heat at their sole discretion.

10.2 If a heat is cancelled due to insufficient entries, all registered participants for that heat will receive a full refund of their entry fee (excluding third-party processing fees) within 14 days.

10.3 Registered participants will be notified by email of any such decision as promptly as possible.

11. General

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2 The host reserves the right to amend these Terms. Registered participants will be notified of any material changes.
